Vandevi Asafoetida Yellow (Hing) Powder

Asafoetida has a pungent smell, it is called "stinking gum". The smell disappears when cooking. It gives dishes a delicate flavor reminiscent of bulbous vegetables, such as leeks or onions. It is also called "devil's dung" in English and has a similar name in different countries.
