A mixture of Indian spices on chickpeas. This spice is suitable for all Indian curries with legumes (with chickpeas, beans, yellow peas, etc.). The mixture of Indian spices Chan masala is one of the best-selling and most popular spices for legumes.
Ingredients: salt, sugar, Roman cumin, black pepper, red chilli, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, green cardamom, garlic, nutmeg, nutmeg, ginger.
Heat half the oil and fry the onions in it for a few minutes, stirring constantly. Add Dal Masala Mix and garlic.
Add lentils, tomato, soya leaves, green chilli and 6 cups of water. Cook on low heat until the dal is soft and smooth (about 30 minutes).
Heat the remaining ghee/oil and stir fry the curry leaves in it for a few seconds and pour over the cooked lentil curry. Cover and cook on low heat for 15-20 minutes.
Serve with naan/roti/rice and onion rings.
