How to make masala chai

  1. Boil water (1 cup) with 3 green cardamom pods, 2 cloves and 1 cinnamon stick.
  2. Add 1 tsp black tea (Wagh Bakri or Brooke Bond) and boil 2 minutes.
  3. Pour in ½ cup milk, add 2 tsp sugar and simmer briefly.
  4. Strain and serve hot. Use whole milk for authentic taste.
